2014 Resolutions

So at the beginning of 2014 I made a list of things I would like to accomplish & work on for myself. Take a look…


 

2014 List 

– take car of my car (fix the things that need fixing & make a smart plan about upgrading.

-pay off all my credit

-repair my photo printer

-finish my PGA application

-start my USA trip plan (which is a plan to visit all the US cities on my wish list, which I will share later on)

-move to a new apartment with Jason (my boyfriend)

-read 5 books

-work on my DIY projects (coffee table) (2 dressers) (table & chairs for kitchen)

-get my credit up (over 700 was the first goal, but I wanted to also see if I could possibly get over 750) Started 2014 at 619.

-pay off all my student loans

-lose weight (ultimate goal is to lose 50lbs)

-complete the 5 week couch to 5k app running program.

-run a 5k.

-meditate

-send more postcards

-positivity project

-find a BFF in LA


 

I know it is an ambitious list, but you have to aim for something. Below I will re-list the list with an update. Crossed out means I have completed that item. I will also note updates in italics.


 

2014 List 

– take car of my car (fix the things that need fixing & make a smart plan about upgrading. This is something I haven’t done much more than think about. 

-pay off all my credit. Chipped away a small amount, but still have a road ahead of me. 

-repair my photo printer.

finish my PGA application applied on 1/20 was accepted on 3/21

start my USA trip plan (which is a plan to visit all the US cities on my wish list, which I will share later on) Started by visiting Joshua Tree & Palm Spring in May.

move to a new apartment with Jason (my boyfriend).  Moved in March.

-read 5 books. (have read 3 full and currently on 3)

-work on my DIY projects (coffee table) (2 dressers) (table & chairs for kitchen) Looking for more projects to work on (bookshelf) (planter)

pay off all my student loans (down to under $4000.00 owed) 

-lose weight (ultimate goal is to lose 50lbs) Need to work harder on this. 

-complete the 5 week couch to 5k app running program. Completed week 1 on to week 2. 

-run a 5k. (signed up for one in July)

-meditate (started, but need to work on it more regularly)

-send more postcards (I have sent a few, maybe 5 or so. Have sent a lot of cards though) 

-positivity project (working on it, but I struggle. I’m a true pessimist.) 

-find a BFF in LA (have a BF, but would love a best girl friend.. this mission is in the works currently) 


I feel like I have done ok. 6 out of 17 isn’t that great, but I’m happy I have updates for most of them. I suppose some of them aren’t cut and dry complete or not, some are things I just want to work on which I could potentially do so for the rest of my life. I will update again before the end of 2014.
